Hear From a Student
James Brendan Tippen is currently a 9th grade student at the Cambridge School of Dallas.
Interviewer: Why did you choose Cambridge?
Brendan: I was looking for a good education in a Christian environment. When I came, it just seemed like a good fit.
Interviewer: Did anything surprise you about Cambridge?
Brendan: I didn’t know that an entire school could do things together. I was surprised when all the students and the teachers went on a retreat to Pine Cove at the beginning of the year. I don’t think most schools do that.
Interviewer: What do you like best about Cambridge?
Brendan: I like the community. I like how all the seniors know and talk to the 7th graders. All the grades know each other.
Interviewer: What is your favorite class?
Brendan: I really like Latin, but I like all my classes because the teachers make the subjects interesting and so it is fun to learn.
Interviewer: In what other activities are you involved?
Brendan: I was on the cross country team this fall. It was great when we won first place at the State competition. I haven’t decided whether I’ll participate in crew or track in the spring.
