Faith & Culture Series is an annual lecture program in which a guest lecturer speaks to the interface of faith, education and culture and covers topics of interest to the Cambridge community which are relevant to the School’s Guiding Principles.
The 2011 Faith & Culture Series took place on Thursday, November 10 in the sanctuary of Fellowship Bible Church, 9330 N. Central Expressway.
Last year’s speaker is Lynn Vincent.
Lynn Vincent is the New York Times bestselling writer of Heaven Is for Real, Going Rogue, and Same Kind of Different as Me. Lynn particularly loves writing stories about ordinary people living extraordinary lives. She specializes in writing narrative or “dramatic” nonfiction — true stories that pull readers from page to page like fast-paced fiction. In March 2011, Same Kind of Different as Me (Thomas Nelson) marked its third consecutive year on the NYT list and reached over one million in sales. The author, coauthor, and collaborative writer of ten books, Lynn worked for eleven years as a writer and editor at the national news biweekly WORLD Magazine.
