Suzy Mighell graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Public Relations. She and her husband Bob have three children, Connor (Class of 2011), Weston (Class of 2012) and Becca (Class of 2015). Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, Suzy served as the Director of College Ministries at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Once her children were born, Suzy continued to speak to various groups, disciple young women and lead Bible studies. She and Bob became involved in the parenting ministry, Growing Families International (publishers of the Growing Kids God’s Way parenting curriculum). They led numerous Growing Kids groups in their home, as well as workshops at Growing Families International conferences.
Suzy served on the Board of Providence Christian School for six years, the last two as vice-president. She has been extremely involved in the Cambridge community, most recently as the president of Parent Fellowship. She and her family attend Park Cities Presbyterian Church, where she and Bob are the Moderators of the Nursery and Childcare Ministry and have served for 11 years as weekly Room Leaders for the Early Walkers Class.
Suzy values Cambridge for the academic discipleship that she has seen lived out in her children’s lives. “The faculty has invested themselves in our children – coming alongside them in ways that we as their parents could not completely do ourselves – partnering with us in challenging their hearts and minds to follow more closely after Christ. We are extremely grateful.”
