P. Stan Keith

Chair, Development, Marketing, and Strategic Planning

Stan is president of Promettre International Ventures Inc., a closely held investment corporation involved in angel and venture capital financings since 1992. He is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He was a co-founder of CompUSA Inc., and served as its chief financial officer, treasurer and executive vice president between 1987-1992. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Pine Cove Christian Camps and has served on Pine Cove’s as well as several other non-profit evangelical organization Boards as well. He and Betsy Keith, his wife of 24 years, are charter members of Park Cities Presbyterian Church and have four daughters - a Senior at Baylor University, a Sophomore (Cambridge graduate) at Texas Christian University, and two youngest daughters, Jennifer and Mary Grace at Cambridge.

Mark R. Doran

As Transwestern’s chief operating officer, Mark oversees the corporation’s national initiatives and facilities the company’s corporate planning. He also is a member of Transwestern’s Board of Directors. Mark has more than 22 years experience with public and private real estate companies in the areas of real estate operations, finance and investment. He has been associated with Prentiss Properties Trust and also served as senior vice president of finance for Lincoln Property Co. Mark also held various positions with KPMG Peat Marwick. Mark is a graduate of Baylor University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. He and his wife Wendy have three children: Blake, a Dallas homebuilder, Barrett, a 2006 graduate of Cambridge attending Baylor University, and Hayley, a middle school student at Cambridge.

Friends of Cambridge President-elect

Diana brings a wealth of knowledge to her roles on the Cambridge board. She strongly believes in the value of a classical Christian education to equip students with transferable intellectual skills that can be applied to any area of learning as they grow in their faith. Diana is a mother of three daughters, including her youngest who graduated from Cambridge and is a student at Texas A&M University. Diana has continually given back to her church, school and local communities in which she has lived, whether in Dallas or in Madisonville, Texas. In Madison County, she and her family operated Vick Lumber Co. and were involved in the family's third generation ranching operation. In Dallas, she also served as president of the Cambridge Parent Fellowship and is an active member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church.

Jamie R. Lake

Chair, Admissions Committee

Jamie R. Lake is retired attorney and is an active member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Southern Methodist University School of Law. She and Brenton Lake, her husband of 23 years, have a daughter, Elizabeth, who is a high school student at Cambridge School of Dallas.

Kaky Little

Chair, Personnel Committee

Dr. Little is a practicing gastroenterologist and serves as the medical director of the John Fordtran, M.D. Diagnostic Center for Digestive Diseases at Baylor University Medical Center. She grew up in Jackson, Miss., and was educated at Vanderbilt University and the University of Mississippi Medical School and completed her residency and the Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She and Louie Little, her husband of 26 years, are active members of Park Cities Presbyterian Church. Their son, David, graduated from Cambridge in 2006 and attends Wake Forest University. Their daughter Katie is a high school student at Cambridge.

Cathy Tippen

Catherine S. Tippen

Chair, Curriculum Committee

Cathy has been involved in education for a number of years. She and Peter Tippen, her husband of 17 years, returned to Dallas in 2005, after spending 10 years in Evergreen, Colorado. Cathy received her bachelor's degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin, began home schooling in 1998 and taught her children for six years. During that time she became versed in classically based Christian curriculums and devoted herself to the study and practice of educating young people. She headed the children's Sunday school program at Evergreen Fellowship Christian Church in Evergreen and during her tenure established a Christ-centered, accountable program of Christian education. This program was used in at all elementary grade levels and she served as a liaison to the board of elders for matters involving Christian education for children. Two of the Tippens' three children, Marshall and Brendan, attend Cambridge.

Tom Mason

Tom Mason is the Executive Vice President-Treasurer of Hillwood Development Corp. and has been instrumental in managing the company’s financial affairs for the past 15 years. Before joining Hillwood, Tom, a Certified Public Accountant, worked with VMS Realty Partners in Chicago, assisting with debt restructuring and asset liquidation. Tom also has been associated with Lincoln Property Co., Kenneth Leventhal & Co. and Arthur Andersen. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University.

DAVID MANIGOLD

Chair, Technology

Dave is a Partner in the Dallas practice of Tatum, LLC. During his 25-year career, Manigold directed the operational startup and national rollout for The Success Planner, Inc. and raised $1 million working capital. He initiated and led projects resulting in business-driven Strategic Information Technology Plans for Zale Corporation; redefined its human resources and payroll processes leading to over $5 million in savings and guided their executives through the selection of software that matched the redefined processes and maximized benefits. He led a major program initiative leading to a $19 million inventory reduction and $20 million sales increase for Payless Cashways; led its adoption of new processes enabled by software applications implemented on an aggressive schedule and designed an e-commerce multi-channel integration of web-store and catalog and retail, including CRM for an early stage growth company, clients of Answerthink, Inc.

Prior to joining Tatum, Manigold was Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President, The Success Planner, Inc., national career planning service; President, Manigold Consultants, business and technology consultancy; National Industry Practice Director, Enterprise Integration, Answerthink, Inc., IT consulting firm; Interim Chief Information Officer, Michaels Stores, Inc., national retailer; Partner, McCready Manigold Ray & Co., Inc., business and technology consulting firm; Regional Industry Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, international accounting and consulting firm; President, Pro Consultants, Inc., consulting firm and Senior Consulting Manager, Accenture, consulting firm.

Manigold has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo.

He is married to Claire and has three children - Kyle at University of Oklahoma, Lindsey at University of Missouri and Michael, who will be a 10th grader at Cambridge this fall. He is a Deacon at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, where he has served on numerous Operations and Technology Committees.
Dave has been instrumental in working with the Cambridge Crew Team, and Claire is active with the Faith and Culture and Auction events


Michael Wallis

MICHAEL WALLIS

Mike works as a contract CFO for a variety of small real estate companies after 25 years in the finance and real estate business.  He started in banking in Dallas after graduating with an MBA from the University of Kansas.  He earlier graduated from Bethany College with a BA in English.  After 20 years of membership, Mike serves as an Elder at Highland Park Presbyterian Church.  He is also a Core Volunteer with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity and heads the Habitat Committee at HPPC.  He and his wife, Julie of 20 years, have been involved in the Cambridge community since their daughter Julie Ann started at CSD in the fall of 2005.  She will be entering the 9th grade this fall at Cambridge.


Robin Wantland

Robin serves as the President of Commercial Banking for Highland Bank (Dallas), and is the former Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking of Compass Bank, based in Dallas. His responsibilities have included providing strategic and tactical direction for a nationwide footprint. Robin is passionate about his belief in giving back to the community, serving as chairman of the Board of South Dallas Development Fund, as an Elder at Northwest Bible Church and as member of The Family Place, a domestic violence shelter in Dallas. He and Diana Wantland, his wife of 26 years, have four children. Two daughters are recent graduates of his own alma mater, Oklahoma State University, and a third attends the University of Oklahoma. His son, David Wantland, is a Cambridge School of Dallas graduate where he served as Head Prefect for the 2006-2007 school year and will be attending Furman University in the Fall of 2007.

Robbie Briggs

Robbie is the chief executive officer of Briggs Freeman Real Estate Brokerage, a firm founded by his father. Robbie not only is an entrepreneur, but also a community servant and philanthropist who has become well-known for his involvement with Cambridge, as well as in the region’s public and private sectors. He has taken leadership roles in the Highland Park Independent School District Dad’s Club and at his alma mater, St. Mark’s School of Texas. He is active in the Park Cities Presbyterian Church. He also has served the community through roles at the Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the Hockaday School, the Park Cities YMCA, the Chemical Awareness Council and the Tartan board for the Scottish Rite Hospital. His real estate firm has been listed for the past two years as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in Dallas. This past year, Robbie, his wife Nancy, and their two youngest daughters answered the call to move to Beijing, China, an area that offers opportunities for growth, personally, professionally and academically. Despite the distance, Robbie remains deeply involved with Cambridge and with his company as a new kind of CEO: Chief Executive Overseas.
