Laura has served as the Director of Communications and Development at The Cambridge School of Dallas since July 2020. She graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and a minor in Political Science. She also received her Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Healthcare Studies from Tufts. Laura brings a wealth of knowledge in nonprofit consulting, project management, campaign strategy and outreach, donor relations, and CRM. She previously worked o the development and strategy team at WBUR, Boston’s NPR news station, where she collaborated extensively with boards and councils of the station to solicit campaign funds and create marketing strategies for outreach. While at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Laura managed various development events and strategy for the Global Health and Women’s Health departments. Prior to coming to Cambridge, Laura served as the Director of Strategy and Business Development at CCS Fundraising, where she managed and maintained marketing initiatives, strategic outreach, and proposal for various nonprofit sectors. Outside of Cambridge, Laura is a Leadership Board member for the Crohns and Colitis Foundation and a Women’s Auxiliary Council member at Children’s Hospital of Dallas. Originally from a small town in Upstate New York, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and dog Chloe, trying different workout classes, cooking, home decorating, writing, and documentaries. She and her husband worship at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
